Spend your days the way you want to spend your life.
Leave your days spent.
Don’t just pass the time- exhaust your days and leave them spent!
I’d like to skid past my life’s finish line with windblown hair, a drink in hand, and an exhausted smile… and decidedly not with the realization I’d been holding back.
One of my favorite ways to spend my days is exploring the world. I don’t care if the destination is 20 miles away or 20,000- if it’s somewhere I’ve never been, I want to go.
I love the indispensable feeling of ‘lostness’ that somehow manages to liberate rather than bind. Shaken from the cover of routine and familiarity, travel forces me to see, taste, smell, and experience anew. There exists an astounding number of ways to live one’s life, and every trip I’ve taken has forced me (if only for a minute or two) to reevaluate and improve upon the one that I’ve chosen for myself.
Spend Your Days is a bit of travel, a bit of adventure, and a lot of living. I started this blog in an effort to catalog the lessons I’ve learned while exploring the world a day at a time. My deepest hope is to encourage you to push into the unknown, to pursue wonder, and to make each day count- whether that’s across the globe or in the city you call home.
Thanks for stopping by! Now get out there, and spend your days!

Miranda
